September 26–29, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Orlando
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) - GOST™ (Global Ocean Security Technologies) will introduce the GOST NT Evolution 2.0 Inmarsat satellite-based wireless marine security, monitoring and tracking system with global remote accessibility at the 2012 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, September 26-29 at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
The next-generation NT Evolution 2.0 is a marine grade, water resistant, wireless security, monitoring and tracking system that provides global arm/disarm and relay control over satellite from anywhere in the world, with the reassurance of a battery back-up.
“We’ve designed NT Evolution 2.0 to defend high end center consoles, go-fast boats and any other asset that requires a rugged, water resistant, satellite based, security, monitoring and tracking system. Easy to install, wireless sensors can be monitored and the system can be controlled remotely, no matter where the vessel is located globally, with the exception of the most extreme poles,” said GOST President and CEO Jay Keenan.
An extensive range of up to 64 wireless sensors can protect and monitor a vessel. Five wireless relays allow control of any AC or DC function on board and can be set to activate other devices such as external sirens, strobes, deck or cockpit lights when the system goes into alarm.
The GOST NT Evolution 2.0 uses the 5th generation GOST Nav-Tracker website and the ultra-reliable Inmarsat Satellite Constellation for all communication & control. There is also an optional built-in quad band GPRS/GSM Module for enhanced simultaneous voice and text message reporting and control when in GSM cellular range. A SIM card would need to be added for this function, but it is not required for operation of the system.
The GOST NT-Evolution 2.0 Package includes the GOST Nav-Tracker antenna with integrated GPS receiver & 2-way Inmarsat Satellite Modem, the GOST NT-Evolution 2.0 control unit with built-in quad band GPRS/GSM Module, two key fob remote controls, a 30ft antenna cable, a six foot power cable and covert antenna mounting bracket.
